From Outdated To Outstanding
The original kitchen layout was a dated design that no longer was functional for this client. The kitchen was cramped, oddly-laid out, and didn’t reflect the client’s current style. We removed an oddly-placed peninsula, relocated the fridge, installed several recessed lights, installed new flooring, a powered island, and a new backsplash.
New Cabinets & Backsplash
New cabinets can make a huge impact on the appearance of any kitchen. It can change the style, the era, and the overall look. However, the cabinets go further than just being a focal point. They also provide ample storage for this homeowner who loves to cook and entertain. We installed shaker style cabinets in this kitchen for a modern, yet timeless look and installed a white subway tile backsplash for additional contrast.
Island & Granite Countertops
One of the biggest requests in today’s kitchen renovations is a kitchen island. We contrasted the color of the cabinets with a white island to add visual interest to the additional prep space, without taking away from the flow of the room. We installed granite countertops and to bring this home into modern times.
